Human remains exposed by coastal erosion of the west side of the island were excavated. These consisted of the partial remains of a single extended skeleton oriented north-west/south-east with the head to the north-west. Fragments of other human bone from the soil overlying the burial indicated the presence of other burials in the vicinity. The burial lay c. 110m to the north-west of the church on the island.
