Following a site inspection in January 1991 it was decided to do an assessment of this site given its proximity to Garraun-a-killa graveyard.
Six cuttings were opened in July, two at the lower level, near the street, where natural deposits occurred below the demolition rubble. In the four cuttings at the higher level a deposit of dark rich garden soil overlay the natural deposits. No structures nor deposits of archaeological interest were identified.
