A services trench leading from the upper carpark to the new information centre at Glendalough was archaeologically monitored over a 2 day period. The trench was 323m in length, 0.8m in width and 0.7m in depth. No archaeological features were uncovered. A layer of burning which occurred at a depth of 0.65m and extended for 2m may be associated with land clearance in the past.
