The site consisted of a trapezoidal-shaped cist of granite slabs with an earthen floor of hard yellow clay. It contained an unburnt crouched skeleton and an incomplete vase food vessel, both disturbed. The cist measured 1.08m in length; max. width 0.76m, min. width 0.45m. The long axis was orientated east-west with the broader end of the cist to the east. The cist had an average depth of 0.57m. It was discovered during land clearance.
