An investigation, funded by a private developer, took place on a site at the rear of Nos 41a-51 Glasnevin Road, Dublin near the Bon Secours Hospital, which it was thought could be within the 6th-century monastery of St Mobhi. Between 1914 and 1956 a number of burials were discovered in the vicinity which could have formed part of an extensive burial ground associated with the monastery. Four trenches were opened to coincide with the foundation trenches of the proposed development. No archaeological strata were discovered.
