This greenfield site at Conyngham Street was excavated in advance of housing development. Early 17th-century sources indicated that the site might yield traces of three Irish 'cabins', vernacular buildings of a type yet to be examined archaeologically. No traces of the structures or associated occupation were found, the earliest artefacts being early 18th-century ceramics in a redeposited context.
