Grady's Yard, John Street
Section of the medieval city wall with projecting Watergate Fort', possibly a boat enclosure.
Watch Tower, Manor Street/Railway Square
Section of the late medieval city wall with projecting mural tower, which is cylindrical in plan. The latter is well preserved and has early cannon-loops. The Grady's Yard and Watch Tower sites are located in the southern extremity of the medieval English town. They involved the excavation and conservation of a well preserved section of the city wall.
St. Martin's Gate, Spring Garden Alley
Late 13th-century gate castle with section of the city wall. This site is located to the north of the other two sites at the SW corner of the old Ostman town. Work here involves the conservation of the late 13th-century castle excavated by Michael Moore in 1983.
