The area of a proposed toilet development in the steeple garden to the west of the graveyard was excavated. Post-medieval activity only uncovered here.
Trial cuttings further north within the steeple garden, where further development may take place, uncovered layers rich in animal bones at depths of 1-2m. Some sherds of medieval pottery were found in the upper layer but no finds were recovered from the lowest layer.
