A small rectangular cist composed of shale slabs was discovered during land clearance. The floor was lined with slabs and the cist measured 1.3m x 0.85m with its long axis orientated N/S. It contained one inhumation in poor condition. This had been disturbed but the skull seems to have been placed in the centre facing west. No pottery or other grave goods were recovered.
