A triangular capstone, 2.35m x 1.60m, dislodged in the course of ploughing revealed a short rectangular cist. The sides of the cist were constructed of split limestone slabs. The cist measured 1.6m in length and 1.25m in width, its long axis orientated SW/NE. It contained the unburnt remains of a single juvenile. The body was flexed, lying on its right side. It was accompanied by a Food Vessel of Vase type, placed mouth upwards at the knees. A small flint knife also accompanied the burial.
