In February 1972 human remains were exposed in ground trampled by cattle on a farm at Darreens or Pollough, Clonmore, near Templemore, Co. Tipperary.263 The remains were found at a depth of c. 0.3m below ground level in a field known locally as the Green Hill. The site was not visited by NMI personnel, and the remains do not appear to have been acquired. Neither Pollough nor Dareens are listed in the townland index, so it is not possible to be any more specific about the location of this site.
