Fourth season’s excavations of a rich series of prehistoric settlement sites. This included the finishing of the excavation of the Neolithic house and the examination of the other areas of occupation. This produced large quantities of Neolithic and Beaker material. One area in particular was carpeted with sherds up to three layers thick. In another area a hearth under a Beaker occupation site produced both Western Neolithic Pottery and Carrowkeel Ware
