Third season’s excavation at Shalwy Court Cairn. The site is now completely excavated. Excavation in the inner chamber revealed an Iron Age occupation under which was a Neolithic deposit. This contained featureless pottery sherds and flint implements particularly Hollow Scrapers. Final clearance of the forecourt also produced more flint implements.
