Archaeological monitoring of an Uisce Éireann watermains upgrade scheme took place between September 2025 and February 2026. The 7860m works involved open-cut trench excavation and pits for horizontal drilling. The works occurred within the road take, in which exposed stratigraphy consisted of road surface and bedding onto natural subsoils. No archaeology was encountered.
