A total of 15 trenches were excavated across the site. Each trench measured 1.8m in width, and in total, 534m of linear trenches were excavated. The natural subsoil varied between a light greyish-orange clay and a mottled light grey and yellowish-orange clay. No archaeological features, deposits or structures were identified or recorded in any of the trenches excavated, and no artefacts were recovered.
