Monitoring was undertaken on a site off Station Road, Castlefarm, Dunboyne, Co. Meath. The monitoring identified evidence of extensive modern agricultural activity associated with the former commercial herb garden that previously occupied the site. Some post-medieval agricultural ditches were also identified, continuations of ditches previously identified in monitoring to the north in 2020 (Licence No. 19E0525, Excavations Ref. 2020:165).

No features of archaeological significance were identified during the course of monitoring within the western field or within the narrow strip connecting the western and eastern fields.
