Archaeological monitoring was recommended as a condition of planning for upgrade works to the existing Waste Water Treatment Plant in Hospital. A full archaeological presence was maintained during the removal of topsoil in three areas of the development, the site compound, the storage area and in lands approved for the construction of additional tanks. No features or finds of archaeological significance were found in any of these areas.
