The archaeological monitoring was carried out as part of conservation works to the south transept of St Nicholas’ Collegiate Church (CMF25-1-GC002). Plaster was removed from the western and south walls of the south transept. Corbels and joist holes were identified which confirms that there was a gallery in the sixteenth-century south transept extension.
