A programme of archaeological monitoring was undertaken to facilitate the installation of a new watermain, domestic and/or commercial property connections, and installation/replacement of hydrants and valves in the Townland of Ballycunningham, Co. Cork.
The watermains rehabilitation works crossed a Zones of Notification of a Recorded Monument CO061-036—- (Ringfort). All ground reduction works within this zone were subject to a programme of archaeological monitoring.
Nothing of archaeological significance was encountered during the course of monitoring, with no further archaeological works recommended for this project.
