Archaeological monitoring of topsoil stripping of a 5000m square area took place in advance of land reclamation for agricultural activities within a greenfield area. The site was stripped to the surface of the underlying natural subsoil. This work formed Phase 1 of the works, with Phase 2 scheduled to take place at a later date.
