An Archaeological impact assessment and test excavation were carried out in advance of expansion of holiday park development within a greenfield zone. The assessment identified a low likelihood of archaeology. This was borne out by the test excavation in which a single sherd of 19th to 20th-century glazed pottery was found. No archaeology was encountered.
