Phase 2 of archaeological monitoring of topsoil stripping of sand and gravel quarry extension took place on 3 and 4 September 2025. An area of 175m by 35m was strippied to the surface of the underlying natural subsoil. The subsoil surface varied from yellow silty sand to mid-brown to orange gravels.
No archaeology was encountered during the works.
