An Archaeological Assessment was carried out in advance of the construction of a single dwelling and associated works.
The site was located in an enclosure immediately northeast of Recorded Monument MO022-015—- : Ringfort – rath : AGHAREAGH EAST, c.100m east of the monument.
Seven trenches were excavated, three of which tested the entrance driveway, where the proposed development was closest to the Recorded Monument.
No archaeology was found.
