A phase of monitoring of groundworks associated with the transplanting of meadow barley was carried out over several days over the course of six months in 2025. This monitoring was part of an ongoing scope of archaeological investigations on the site, which included a geophysical survey (22R0152), a test excavation, an excavation, and archaeological monitoring, all carried out under licence 22E0464.

The topsoil was removed from several areas, transplanting the meadow barley in the process. The areas were then stripped down untill the natural ground was exposed. The natural was a compact, mid-orangish-brown, silty clay with frequent small subangular stones. A possible dumping area was found in the eastern part of the area. It consisted of a likely depression filled with a firm, mid-greyish-brown, silty clay that contained post-medieval/modern ceramic. It measured roughly 18m by 8m.

No archaeological features or artefacts were uncovered during this phase of monitoring.
