Archaeological monitoring was carried out in advance of a wind farm development within the townlands of Ballyhorgan South, Ballyhorgan East, Lissahane and Muckenagh, Co. Kerry, between 30 January and 26 August 2025. The development site is for the most part located within and on the margins of a cutaway peat bog. A possible archaeological feature identified during previous testing at the site was investigated and found to be non-archaeological. No archaeology was found.
