The archaeological pre-development testing at the proposed development site in the townlandof Knockanvoddy consisted of 4 test trenches. The land is comprised of raised areas of outcropping rock with large boulders and lower level areas with peat. The area is overgrown with bracken, dense shrub and waterlogged in the south-east. No features and/or finds of archaeological significance were encountered during the course of the archaeological test trenching.
