Archaeological monitoring of ground investigation works was carried out in along Dyke Road, Galway City. A total of 13 geotechnical works was monitored and the logs of 6 boreholes were reviewed.
Archaeological monitoring did not identify, nor did the borehole logs record, any archaeological material. However, significant amounts of peat were recorded by both.
