A programme of archaeological testing consisting of 9 linear trenches with a combined length of 705m was undertaken at undisturbed areas adjacent to an existing quarry to inform any potential impacts on unrecorded subsurface archaeological features. No features, deposits or finds of archaeological nature were identified during these investigations.
