Archaeological monitoring of an approved Uisce Éireann watermains rehabilitation scheme was carried out in Cobh, Co. Cork. The watermains works crossed the Zone of Notification for a Recorded Monument – CO087-078—- (Burial ground) located in Ballyvoloon townland. Open-cut trenching was monitored within the Zone of Notification at St Colman’s Square, but no archaeology was found.
