Fifteen trenches were excavated across a proposed largescale residential development site. A small, isolated rounded pit filled with charcoal flecked, humic clay was identified in one of the trenches. No finds were present and the pit appeared to be of limited archaeological significance. No features or finds of archaeological significance were present.
