Archaeological testing and a metal detection survey were carried out in advance of a proposed development and following a geophysical survey. Twenty-one trenches were excavated across the site following on from the metal detector survey. No features or finds of archaeological significance were identified in the trenches. No metal objects of archaeological significance were found during the systematic survey of the site.
