Archaeological monitoring took place in relation to single residential unit. It was found that site had undergone significant and persistent disturbance to soils within living memory (pers. comm. Dan Molloy). The overall archaeological potential is negligible. This is because the shallow topsoil overburden is in contact with bedrock and a high probability that any soil cover that is present is predominantly made ground and any natural soils that may be present are simple deposits of silts as a product of frequent hydrological inundation and capture by modern made ground.

No archaeology was encountered.
