Archaeological testing was carried out on 8 November 2024 using a mechanical excavator fitted with a flat grading bucket. The trenches targeted the accessible portions of the proposed development area, as a large portion of the site is occupied by trees. The programme of works revealed that a large portion of the site has been subject to disturbance, due to the installation of existing water infrastructure on site and historic excavations associated with the burying of rubbish. No feature of archaeological potential were identified during the course of the works.
