Pipe laying was undertaken in order to facilitate the rehabilitation of water mains north-west of Killarney town, in the townlands of Crohane, Dromkerry and Kilclogherane. Archaeological monitoring of these works was concentrated on the area adjacent to RMP KE058-130 (fulacht fia), at the southern end of the scheme, where the pipe trench crossed a greenfield area. Nothing of archaeological significance was identified.
