Archaeological monitoring of topsoil stripping was undertaken at Tay Lane, Greenoge, Rathcoole, Co. Dublin in September 2024 to facilitate development of a parking area for an existing storage facility in response to a planning condition. Monitoring revealed a very thin depth (0.15-0.25m) of mid-brown silty clay topsoil overlying a lighter yellowish-brown stoney clay subsoil. No archaeological remains were uncovered at this time.
