Archaeological monitoring of topsoil stripping for a single wind turbine base and cable trench was carried out in response to planning conditions imposed upon grant of planning approval. Archaeological monitoring was carried out over a period of 1 day revealing topsoil to lie directly above either subsoil or areas of bedrock outcrop to a depth of between 0.15–0.3m. No archaeological deposits or features were identified.
