Archaeological monitoring was carried out to observe ground reduction in advance of construction works of a permitted dwelling in the village of Kilmacanoge, Co. Wicklow. The development site is located within the plot of an existing dwelling, which was constructed as recently as 2002. The site is within the Zone of Notification of a medieval church and graveyard site of Cell Mothenoc (RMP Ref: WI007-064001-003), which lies immediately to the north of the property.
No archaeological features, finds or soils were identified during the monitoring works.
