A programme of archaeological monitoring was undertaken at Terryland, Co. Galway.
Monitoring of groundworks indicated that much of the area had been disturbed in the 20th to 21st century. A section of wall along the Terryland River, constructed in 1867, was recorded, demolished by hand and then reconstructed once works were complete. Metal detection under licence 22R0230 revealed no archaeological objects.
