Ground works associated with the proposed construction of a new dwelling house at Aghern East were archaeologically monitored. The proposed development site lies approximately 50m from a levelled monument, CO045-022. The monument is classified as an Enclosure and is no longer visible on the surface. Cartographic evidence suggests it may have been a tree-ring. No archaeological features or artefacts were found during the monitoring.
