Archaeological monitoring was undertaken at the site of a single house development in the townland of Carrowcore, Ogonnelloe Co. Clare. The site is irregular in shape, covering an area of approximately 0.399ha, and, prior to development, consisted of an undeveloped field characterized by low-lying pasture of good arable quality. Monitoring concentrated on the footprint of the proposed dwelling and associated works; nothing of archaeological significance was encountered.
