| Monitoring of groundworks associated with the installation of a perimeter fence was monitored in September 2022.
There is one recorded monument, an unclassified barrow (LI006-059) located in the east-central area of the development area. A 25m buffer zone was erected surrounding the monument prior to the commencement of archaeological monitoring. Ground disturbance works consisted of the excavation of pits for fencing along the perimeter of the development site, located to the north of the established building. Monitoring of these works was carried out intermittently between 6 and 21 September 2022. Nothing of archaeological significance was found, therefore, no further mitigation measures are deemed necessary. |
