Archaeological monitoring was carried out at the site of a proposed new community college development at Caheranardrish, Mungret, Co. Limerick. The requirement for archaeological monitoring was a condition (condition 19) of planning granted by Limerick County Council.

The development site comprises of the construction of a 1000-pupil post-primary school c. 11,379 sqm in size over 3 stories.

All ground works at the site were subject to a programme of archaeological monitoring. Topsoil varied in depth from 0.1–0.3m. No finds or archaeological deposits were identified during monitoring.
