Licensed archaeological test trenching was carried out on a 0.6365 hectare site at Cromwell’s Lane, Drogheda Co. Louth. Three trenches (89 linear metres) were excavated using an 8-tonne mechanical excavator equipped with a 1.8m grading bucket under constant archaeological supervision. No new sites or features were recorded in testing.
