Archaeological monitoring was carried out at Knockglass and Kilberrihert, Co. Cork, in September and October 2022. The site consists of an east-west ridge of high ground with steeply-sloping sides to the north and south. The dense vegetation cover was topped and mulched prior to groundworks. Excavations revealed a thin cover of dark brown and black peat (0.1-0.35m) over orange/grey clay subsoil, degraded stone and rock. No archaeology was found.
