Licensed monitoring was required at Ballyanly for the erection of ball-stop netting at the eastern end of Inniscarra Camogie Pitch. This involved the excavation of four holes for large wooden poles and a further two for stays. This was required due to the very close proximity of a partially levelled ringfort (CO062-105) immediately to the southeast. The stratigraphy consisted of a minimal depth of topsoil over c. 0.8m of an introduced boulder clay which in turn overlay the natural yellow/brown boulder clay. No archaeology was found.
