Archaeological monitoring, and preservation in situ of a ditch identified in test trenching took place in advance of residential development at Moneytucker, Co. Wexford.
Testing identified a single 2.9m wide ditch which was 1.2m in depth which is deemed to be of archaeological potential. Given that the ditch is located along the driveway, preservation is situ was appropriate.
No further finds or features of archaeological significance were identified during monitoring.
