Testing prior to the construction of a private house showed the site had been reduced, in 2012, to the level of the roadway to accommodate the storage of a boat. The layer of industrially crushed stone laid in the fenced-off site still formed the surface of the site, albeit with a cover of weed and buddleia. This was removed to expose the sandstone bedrock beneath. No archaeological finds or features were disturbed by this work. No further action is required.
