Achaeological monitoring took place of excavations at Balcurris and Ballymun within the footprint of a large Dublin city council Depot with archaeological planning requirements (F17A/0686). The excavation took place between April and August 2021 in mostly dry, hot weather. The site was heavily disturbed and contaminated with household and construction waste to a depth of 2.5m in some places. No archaeological material was encountered below these levels.
