Archaeologically monitored excavation was undertaken for a new culvert for the Blackstaff River, prior to the construction of the new Belfast Transport Hub.

Intermittent monitoring took place over a 10-month period between October 2020 and July 2021.

Other than a railway turntable dating to the late 19th century, nothing of an archaeological nature was uncovered during the course of the watching brief.
