Archaeological testing of green areas within the proposed development lands at Blakestown, Intel, Leixlip, Co. Kildare was undertaken in January 2019 on foot of a planning condition to fulfil the mitigation measures in the EIS (2016). Features (F1 – F7) were exposed in Trench 9; excavation of the features was subsequently undertaken under the same licence.
